Dr. Gregory M. Jungman D.D.S was born in Minnesota where his mother was from and also has roots in Iowa where his father was raised. He grew up in San Diego from age 5 through college, where he attended San Diego State University. Dr. Jungman was married 29 years to Kathie, with children Chris, Mike and Tim. Chris and Mike live in Boulder and Tim lives in Denver. Dr. Jungman received his bachelor’s degree in Biology- Pre-dental, and for Dental School he attended the University of Iowa. After completion he and his wife Kathie returned to San Diego in 1974.
Dr. Jungman spent two years in the Navy, holding the chairman position of Oral Diagnosis and Preventative Dentistry at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego. In 1976 Dr. Jungman and his family moved here to Summit County, Colorado where he started his practice in Dillon that year. In the fall of 1995 he began working to open Breckenridge Family Dental, joined by Dr. Robert C. Meister. The new office, located in the City Market shopping center opened in the fall of 2000. Dr. Jungman also headed the design and opening of the Kremmling office in 1999. Besides dentistry, Dr. Jungman's primary interests include hunting and fishing, scouting, and his children's activities. He teaches Hunter Education, has spent 12+ years as Scoutmaster and is on the Division of Wildlife committee.
