Dr. Stephanie Barnett, D.M.D was born and raised in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in biology. Dr. Barnett went on to attend dental school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating with her DMD in 2010. After completing dental school Dr. Barnett began her career in Tuba, Arizona working on the Navajo Reservation until 2012.
As a young girl, Dr. Barnett developed a deep love for the mountains- as her family would take a yearly ski trip, traveling from her small town in Oklahoma to Keystone, Colorado. It was in the winter of 2012 that Dr. Barnett was finally able to combine her passion for dentistry and her love of skiing by moving to Summit County. It was during this time that Dr. Barnett volunteered with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, implementing their mission of 'expanding the potential of people of all abilities through meaningful, educational, and inspiring outdoor experiences.' Dr. Barnett began working for the Summit County Community Clinic in 2013. Dr. Barnett worked to provide dental care for the under-served population of the area for the next five years, acting as the Dental Director in her final year with the Care Clinic.
When she is not providing excellent dental care, Dr. Barnett enjoys hiking, biking and skiing.
